Hi Kathy,
FYI- The Twin Cities Restaurant Blog is not affiliated with house of Wong. You will have to directly let them know you would like coupons. There isn't anything I can do about that.

We live in Maplewood near Rice St. and we never receive any coupons from your Restaurant. Our neighbors in Roseville get them whenever you send them out. We go to your Restaurant all the time and many times we bring friends so it would be nice to have some coupons. Thanks

This is a response to civicexr123 comment...I also work there...and they do NOT reheat their chow mein...all the old chow mein is thrown out of the end of the day, there is no way that we would ever serve old chow mein. Get your facts right man before telling lies online about us...

House of Wong is a fabulous restaurant. No their soup is not from a can, they make it home made every day! I think you'd be able to tell if it was from a can. If you want soup go to Eddington's :) They are so caring on customers needs, they will make stir fry's to order. I don't think since they have changed hands that they are skimming on anything... my husband and I still get a huge portion of food for a very decent price. I'm sure some one has had a bad experience at just about every restaurant there is. I have been going to House of Wong for years and know the Wong's personally and can honestly say they truly care about their customers and their business. Most of the servers are very friendly and know the customers by name which is always inviting. Go in and how a wonderful meal at house of wong, you will love it! :)

The past few posters who bash House of Wong must be talking about a different restaurant. My experience with House of Wong - (over 30 years) - has been nothing but fabulous. The number 6 combination is my favorite.
In fact, I'll be stopping there on my way home from work tonight - (hence the reason I found this post - since I was looking for their menu online.)
So shame on you to the H.O.W. bashers - this restaurant is the best in town.

If your going to go eat at House Of Wong I suggest you not order there chicken chow mein because I use to work there and I watch how they made it. House of Wong used the same old chicken chow mein every day. They just reheat the old ones that are left over from the day before or after. I use to eat chow mein every day but till I saw that I stop but its up to you.

I've been eating at the House of Wong for over 40 years, and the things I always get--chicken chow mein, chicken fried rice, egg rolls, and chicken egg foo yung--are the same as they've always been, in the same portion sizes...not to mention delicious. Guess I don't really care about the soup. I can make soup at home. I don't go to a restaurant for soup.

My Wife and I have been eating at the House of Wong for over 20 years now. We both grew up in the neighborhood. Unfortunately they have changed hands now. They're skimming on the food portions, cutting corners, and using less quality food. Their soups are no longer home made and comes straight out of a can. We rarely eat there anymore, only if we're hard up.

My wife and I have always had a wonderful experience over the past five years that we have lived in Roseville. I am sorry that your experience was not as pleasant as the 2-3 three times a month over five years that we have enjoyed the varied menu and wonderful service at the House of Wong. Actually, the House of Wong is the oldest family owned restaurant in Roseville.
