I'm in my mid-30's have been going to Sams since I was 6 years old and now I bring my children there. The food is great and the atomosphere is friendly and comfortable. The buffet and decor haven't changed much since it opened, but that's what I like about it. My children love going there because they know that when they walk in the door they'll get a "high five" from Sam! Sam and Camy are the greatest and nicest people I know. Sam is always so friendly and Camy is always singing away in the back. Those two work very hard to make their resturant such a great place to eat. Sam made me the employee I am today and I have learned a lot from him and the food is amazing, Im going there tonight for take out! I worked at Kings City for 3 years. I had the same two entrees as you, and they were great (the twice cooked pork was great). The wontons were some of the best I've eaten, the sweet and sour sauce was lovingly homemade, and as you mentioned, the service was top notch. This was my first visit, and I'll surely be back. I don't mind that the "buffet is somewhat limited." If the quality of the Chinese food is above average then it is well worth it. I've been to a number of restaurants where the buffet is huge!
