on How to Manage a Gluten-Free Lifestyle

Minn. (April 24, 2009) – With one in
133 Americans suffering from Celiac Disease and numerous people opting to eat
gluten-free for allergy and health-related reasons, more and more individuals
are seeking gluten-free dining options. Wildfire Eden Prairie offers a gluten-free menu
year-round and will host its first gluten-free wine dinner on Monday, May 18,
which includes a presentation by Wildfire’s Executive Chef Larry Donahue
on gluten-free living.
Chef Donahue will discuss the best ways to
start and maintain a gluten-free diet. He will share tips for people living a
gluten-free lifestyle, including how to handle food choices while dining out,
entertaining, traveling and attending parties. The evening will begin with a
reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by a specialty dinner prepared by Wildfire
Eden Prairie Executive Chef Tom Gladbach at 7:00 p.m.
Guests will have the chance to enjoy
gluten-free dining at its finest, with a four course meal consisting of an
assortment of specialty pizzas, citrus cured salmon, braised short rib and a
pear tartlet, each masterfully paired with a gluten-free wine.
The $55 cost per person includes food, wine,
