I am trying now to cash in my Groupon coupon for Chef in a Box. Dinner for 4 to share with my sister who is coming to visit next week.
Has ANYONE gotten a resolution to the problems listed before mine? Or are we writing this off as a bad decision? Shame on Chef in a Box. Shame on Groupon for not vetting these vendor coupons. Who is the responsible party to resolve this problem?

I am VERY disappointed in not being able to get a response or reach someone connected with Grecco’s Chef In A Box! I purchased a coupon for dinner for 4 and am not able to redeem it. My coupon number was not accepted and No One has contacted me in anyway! I have e-mailed and have tried to obtain a phone number to no avail. I do not want to waste the money that I spent and have invited a couple over to share the meal. Please send me the contact info to order immediately. Thank you.

Beware. It’s a scam. I contacted Groupon who gave me the Chef in a Box website. When I tried to use my coupon it didn’t work. I sent an email to the address on the Chef website and was told to use code LSM1026 which was valued at $200. The apply coupon button did not reduce my amount shown at check out so I emailed them again. They replied just enter the number along with my credit card info in order to proceed with my order. I questioned it since my amount due should have been zero. Again the email from them insisted. So dummy me I did. I got an email order confirmation and the number listed on the bottom was (123) 456789. BOGGUS. I immediately picked up the phone and called my credit card to stop the transaction and reported it as fraud. Also sent the details to Groupon whose office is closed today (saturday). I went one step further and registered a complaint on line at the National Consumers League. Learn from my mistake and good luck.

If you have coupons for Chef in a Box just get your money back from where you bought it or do a chargeback on the credit card that was used. I think they are out of business and the restaurant will probably be gone soon.

I have been trying for a week and a half to order from the Chef in a box from a gift that was given to me for my birthday. My ticket number is7489874. I am not sure if this is the “Discount Code: but it is the ony number on the Grecco’s chef in a box that I have; 6906-4261. I would like to place my order if I could ever get in touch with anyone.I would like to order the Two Filet Mignon, Two Atlantic Salmon and I understand that shipping is free.

Contact whoever got that birthday gift for you. If it was from Groupon, have them report it so hopefully they can get a refund.

Very dissatisfied with restaurant and Groupon. Cannot access website and phone number obtained from Groupon has Full mailbox. Unable to redeem two Groupons prior to deadline. From what I read elsewhere, I am not only one having trouble.

I have been trying for over one week to get to a website to order…called the restaurant and they just tell me to go to the website. It does not work. This is very frustrating….we are now going to go to the restaurant because the coupon expires on the 22nd. The restaurant is in Wisconsin, I live in Wayzata.

Very frustrating and disappointing! I purchased a Crowd Cut voucher for the Grecco’s Chef in a Box and tried to redeem it on December 30th. I immediately experienced problems with the redemmption due to the Crowd Cut “file” including hyphens in the certificate number and Grecco’s website being down. I tried redeeming my voucher all the way up to the expiration date, January 16th, and I am now sitting with an expired certificate. I contacted both issuing parties throughout the entire experience since the problems were on THEIR side. I kindly requested either an extension or refund and neither party has return my calls or emails. Sad thing is, I still have another voucher to use…or will I??
