What I ordered: I was really in the mood for a calzone and didn’t feel like going out, so luckily for me I found Sarpino’s Pizza with free delivery to my hotel! The calzone looked delicious with its thin, crispy golden crust pocketing a filling of pepperoni, mushroom and sauce. It was good but I wish I would’ve ordered sausage and crushed red pepper as well because it was very mild and slightly boring. It came with a side of sauce for dipping which was also on the boring, mild side.

Overall Impression: I did not realize Sarpino’s was a chain restaurant (until days after I ate it!), which might explain why it was slightly boring. However, you can’t beat free delivery to your door when you’re feeling like a lazy bum! I haven’t tried the pizza but I will go to a locally-owned pizzeria any day over ordering from a big chain.
