This has turned out to be such a nice week weather-wise, hasn’t it?  Unfortunately I have been feeling under the weather since getting a flu shot late last week, but you know what would make me feel a lot better?  Running another Giveaway to CSN Stores!

If you aren’t familiar with CSN Stores, there are 200+ stores that have pretty much anything anyone would ever want or need to furnish their home, from dining tables , cookware, bedding,  lighting….. you name it!

I am going to give away a $55 Gift Certificate available to ANY of the 200+ CSN Stores.  If you would like to enter, all you need to do is tell me a couple of your favorite restaurants in the Twin Cities. You know, the local places you frequent the most.  I know this is a hard one (especially for me!) but I would love to hear where ya’ll like to go when you’re really hungry!

I will randomly select a winner on Sunday, Oct 3rd at 9pm.  Winner will be announced shortly thereafter!

PS Winner must live in USA or Canada and will be responsible for any shipping costs.

  1. Does Rustica count? We stop there for a warm baguette almost every weekend. I also like French Meadow Bakery. I think my husband would vote for Matt’s Bar or Lindy’s.

  2. Sen Yai Sen Lek and Brasa are my favorites!

  3. Murray’s, Manny’s, McCormick & Schmick’s in Edina, Donatelli’s, Key’s Cafe, King City in WBL, Cafe Latte, Pepitos, Punch & Pablo’s in Shakopee. I could go on and on….So many to list.

  4. For great Thai food I can always count on Wild Ginger in White Bear Lake.

But, when I really need to pig out it’s straight to Khan’s Mongolian Barbeque!

  5. Mama’s pizza on rice street for standard but great red sauce food. Four seasons in matimedi for blue berry pancakes, the nook for cheese burgers. For a nice time I love st paul hotel or metiage. Moscow on the hill for blini’s
we are so blessed to have such good food in the cites

  6. I love Jasmine Deli on 26th and Nicollet, Nook in Saint Paul, and Bulldog NE in Nordeast, Mpls.

  7. I love the Buffalo Tap in Savage. Great Juicy Lucy’s without having to stand in line. Lucky’s 13 in Mendota is how Axel’s Bonfire should have been had they not tried so hard to cater to the yuppie crowd. Plus it’s one of those well kept secrets that locals know about and the rest of us discover by accident. Good food…cold beer…Saturday night.

  8. The Happy Gnome for beers and burgers, Fuji-ya happy hour in St Paul for delicious (and reasonably priced) sushi, and Heartland for a special night out.

  9. Fasika has some of the best food of my life. Plus you have to eat with your fingers which just makes it fun.

The Strip Club -Meat $ Fish- has great fancy date night food. A little pricey but worth it…seasonal and local dishes.

  10. If I tell you some of my favs you have to take me with you when you go there.
I haven’t been in a long time but one of my old favs is Cafe Latte. I used to go there all the time when I lived in Saint Paul.. Love it!!

  12. Bar La Grassa. And Brasa. And Punch Pizza. YUM!

  13. Obento-Ya is my absolute favorite. It’s the best Japanese food in the Twin Cities, hands down.

The Blue Door Pub is great when I want some grease and a really good happy hour deal.

John’s Pizza Cafe is my go-to for pizza when I want really good quality and don’t want to shell out the extra money for Luce.

  14. My faves are Khyber Pass on Grand in St. Paul and the Tanpopo Noodle Shop in Lowertown.

  15. I love Kincaids, Pepitos, Punch and Acapulco (for tacos)!

  18. This is really hard to narrow down since I love to try new restaurants all of the time, however we love to go to The Shamrock (owned by The Nook) and QFanatic. I hope you feel better soon!
