I know there are many restaurants around town that have really good fried or broasted chicken, but there is one I have been going back to again and again over the years……

Magnolia’s Restaurant over on the East Side of St Paul.

1081 Payne Avenue  651-774-3333  Hours Daily 6:30am-9:30pm

You get a 1/2 chicken, bowl of soup or salad, and fresh cut fries and service with a smile for under $10.  The batter on the chicken is crispy and salty, well seasoned and flavorful while the chicken is moist and juicy.

I usually get the Chicken Wing Meal (7 whole wings).  Comes with soup or salad, fresh cut fries. 4 wings/$8 or 7 wings/$9.50.  I definitely take the extra wings for only $1.50 more, then I have a little snack for later ;)
