The Hemingway homage features:

Tuesday through Sunday:

  •  A whole fish dish that serves 1-2 people, inspired by the “Old Man and the Sea.”
  • Two $5 cocktails created with Hemingway’s spirited tastes in mind.

 Friday: Live music by Javier & the Innocent Sons

Saturday: a Paella Cooking Class taught by Solera Executive Chef Jorge Guzman that includes two tapas, paella tasting, wine or sangria and the secret to preparing the perfect paella and tapas for $40 per person.

Sunday: the week culminates with Solera’s Pig Roast.  For $45 per person, the event includes:

  • All the suckling roast pork you can eat
  • Three to four succulent side dishes
  • Solera’s signature sangria, along with red and white wine selections.
  • Live music by Javier & the Innocent Sons on blues guitar.
  • A screening of the film “The Sun Also Rises” shown under-the-stars on Solera’s famous rooftop.
  • Giveaway: on Sunday, Solera will give away a Hemingway-inspired prize package:
  •   a $100 gift Solera certificate
  • Spanish Cookbooks
  •  Hemingway novels
  • Two tickets to the September 24th Paella Cooking Class
